They're Back......

Technical difficulties past few days So no posts.
Visited canadian falls yesterday - as stupendous as everyone says. Vista incredible - even
on cloudy day. Had to make mad dash to car when we realized we'ed overrun our $$ in parking meter.

Incredible day today -- sunny and bluest sky! Went to most beautiful niagara-on- the-lake Canada today. Incredible tourist town. Flowers everywhere & most lovely homes on niagara parkway drive. Spent time by niagara river, too We navigated it all just fine!!

Change in plans. Rock n roll hall of fame (Cleveland) is calling us,
so we are going there next!

Rv goes on the road again tomorrow am.

Made it!

Niagara Falls is totally awesome. Took the maid of the mist (a boat filled with tourists in bright blue raincoats) to the base of horseshoe falls. the view of the Anerican Falls and the Canadian horseshoe falls is spectacular. Went to Goat Island which is part of niagara falls state park. Experienced the rapids of the niagara river close up. Wow. Missed the cave of the winds, which is a close up walk up a high staircase right next to bridal falls. Visited the historic town of Lewiston. Neat place. Stopped in at a great bakery. The 649 mile drive was well worth it.

in cleveland maybe another time.

Crossed over several bridges -- asked man at toll booth coming into
Falls area if it is worth it coming all this way
To see the falls, he said "oh yeah, it's still running; they shut it off in the winter." Funny tho: they did close falls down once for repairs. Diverted water to Canada side.

KOA hosts helpful & we have lots of plans for tomorrow!

Bright & beautiful day. Left at 9 am. Jtwo
Started out driving. jone took over on rte
24 & 421. Fought hard to keep PV on the road - pretty harrowing first time! But now old hand at it.
Jtwo took her down 80/90 to Koa in perrysburg, Ohio.
Oh oh, dinner's ready.

Camping at Muskegon St. Park Michigan 2 years ago. Love that blue sky.

That Sweet Pleasure Way Motorhome

How many pounds of snacks can a Pleasure Way RV hold? We have reached the limit for sure. The RV is packed ready to go to Niagara Falls or bust.

First stop KOA near Toledo Ohio.

Should be packing but playing on computer and drinking coffee instead. Maybe caffeine will have "super-charging" effects.

RV cleaned and ready to go -- minus food & clothes.

Oh, and maps, of course.

Frantic Preparation

Amazed at how much list-making is involved. How much stuff can  2 people take???

Of course, food planning and supplies of primary importance. Eat better camping than at home!
